Surah Fatiha, also known as Umm ul Quran, is the greatest surah of the Holy Quran. The Prophet (PBUH) called it a healing (Shifa) for the body and soul. Its virtues (fazilat) include forgiveness of sins, protection from harm, answered prayers, and peace of heart. It is recited in every rak'ah of Salah — the most recited surah in the world.
